Design Philosophy
Our goal was to design and build automated machinery, now more than ever, so needed through out industries of all kinds.
Woodman Engineering was founded in Chico, CA., March of 2002. In February of 2007 we relocated 75 miles north to Redding. We are now located at 2300 Moore Rd., Redding, CA.
Woodman Engineering is owned and operated by Hank Bosman.
Hank is passionate about the design, function and quality of the machines produced. “Listen to your machines, They talk to you. If they are noisy and crashing about, they are telling you they are not happy. A smooth running machine is a productive partner.”
Hank has over 14 years experience using SOLIDWorks 3D CADD software. All of out machines are designed complete down to the nuts and bolts using SOLIDWorks 3D CADD Software, the industry standard.
In the shop, all of the milling machines (3), and lathe are CNC controlled.
All of our machine frames and parts not machined by us, are precision laser or plasma cut.
With over 30 years experience as a machinist, design engineer, and automation gear head, I look forward to being challenged with your automation needs.
Electronic controls and programming are engineered by Jim Long, long time friend, Electrical engineer and systems integrator.
If the part is not manufactured by Woodman Engineering, it is sourced from quality products Made in the USA. After all, A Chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
